Celebration Villa of Nittany Valley will celebrate the First Annual Validation Week, August 17–23, in partnership with the Validation Training Institute.

Centered around “Meet Me Where I Am,” Validation Week highlights how listening, understanding, and validating feelings can create meaningful connections with those living with dementia.

The week’s activities will celebrate residents’ life stories while helping families and community members learn about Validation.

Validation supports Priority Life Care’s Along the Journey dementia care philosophy by honoring each resident’s experiences and encouraging moments of trust, comfort, and connection.
